IED and its Phnom Penh based subsidiary Cambodia Consulting Development Engineers, have partnered with Artelys to develop an energy sector modelling tool and four long-term integrated scenarios for the Ministry of Economy and Finance of the Kingdom of Cambodia.
This association brings together substantial experience in energy and climate policy formation, state-of-the-art energy sector and emissions modelling expertise, and a deep knowledge of the Cambodian energy sector.
Acting as a scientific advisor to the project, IDDRI will support the IED and Artelys teams in ensuring that the project applies the best practice techniques in low-carbon trajectory modelling and policy dialogues developed through the Deep Decarbonization Pathways initiative.
The project, financed by the Agence Française de Développement will be officially launched with a virtual stakeholder meeting in December 2020.
