Since its creation, IED Social Fund has enabled its employees to support their commitment to social projects that are close to their hearts and in which they are personally involved. In this particularly complicated year for many sectors of activity, the financial assistance granted by the IED Social  Fund  has  further enabled us to support activities external to the company in accordance with its values of commitment to the poorest and the enhancement of fair and sustainable societal projects, in the geographical environment of our professional presences.

Thus, in addition to the historic annual support given to the Ashalayam association, which helps street children in Kolkata, India, to get out of their extremely precarious situation, the IED social fund has supported  in 2020  initiatives aimed at reintegrating and   supporting  people  in situations of extreme vulnerability, whether through the Enterprise of Possibles, a collective of companies in the Lyon metropolis whose aim  is to maintain access  to  housing through the patronage of skills,or  through  the Lyon-based association  Forum Réfugié -Cosi,  which  works  to welcome refugees, defend the right of asylum and promote the rule of law.

Support for the training of young people and the support of people with disabilities are also at the heart of the work of the IED Social Fund. While carrying out the rehabilitation of the Lyon theater of the Compagnie du Gai Savoir, which works to democratise school children's access to drama with an integrative approach to people with disabilities, we also help the Judo Club of the Saint Genoise Agreement  (already accompanied in the past for its initiatives to integrate youngathletes with autism  or very similarly)  to cover its operating costs in a context of Covid crisis having forced it to close its doors for several months and to reimburse the membership fees previously collected. The Castors Workshop, an association supporting creative parenting located in Orleans, and the Scout section of the Farfadets of Craponne, were also supported in their projects. What about the renewed financial assistance to the school infrastructure works carried out by the drômoise association "Let the Joy Demeure", a supporter of the Montessori school method, except that it corroborates the willingness of IED employees to encourage collaborative pedagogical practices that place respect for the environment at the centre of educational interactions and theawareness-raising  of tomorrow's adults.

Finally, after supporting local economic development projects in Benin, Burkina Faso and Cameroon in 2019, the IED Social Fund is now intervening in Madagascar to consolidate the social initiatives of the national music star, Rajery, "Prince of Valiha". By promoting the development of sustainable community farming practices and the emergence of eco-tourism that enhances Madagascar's crops, its  Fanamby project is in line with the values of commitment of IED actors to the service of eco-responsible  actions that provide sustainable development.

Congratulations to all these projects supporters !
